If you want to explore some generated dungeons, this is one of the very best. I started playing Rogue Fable 2 on K*ngregate, and have been eagerly awaiting 3 and a Steam release. This game is classic Roguelike, down to the names, and is thoroughly enjoyable in it's simplicity. The addition of races and new equipment from the free version makes it worth the ~$5 paif for it. If you're a fan of the genre, you won't be disappointed.. Rogue Fable III is in my opinion the most enjoyable "coffee break" roguelike - true to its roguelike roots, but very accessible and enjoyable. I can highly recommend it to everyone who enjoy tactics heavy games like X-Com series, as well as to enthusiasts of any other roguelike games.. Great game. Played it on Newgrounds before buying it here and the latest updates are well worth it.. Great game since it's first inception, Rogue Fable III is amazing even in beta. Bugs will be fixed and new things will be added, and they will always help in making the game more interesting. Truly an interesting take on the Roguelikes, it's a fun interesting game with a lot of elements that aren't that hard to understand.. Solid coffee break style roguelike. Simple core mechanics but plenty enough variety and challenge to keep one entertained for a long while. A definitive imporvement over the previous flash iterations of the game, which were not half bad to begin with.It has undeniable roots in dungeon crawl, keeping popular interface features such as auto-explore and "tabbing". Most importantly it is free of grindy or fussy gameplay elements, preserving a streamlined roguelike experience with a good pace.Developement is very active, we have received frequent content patches since the steam release.Definitely recommended for fans of the genre.. Its alright for now.. Needs more content and races. Compared to DCSS, this doesnt really have a lot of races you can be.. The paradox that makes a good game.Easy to learn, difficult to master. Fun, but hard AF. But, not quite controller throwing inducing. It keeps you coming back for more with it's 'one more game' feel.Definitely needs some more balancing. Enemies just swarm and melt you. Range of some of the mobs is kind of absurd. Usually one or two tiles more than you, so you're always face tanking a bit.It would be cool if gear changed your appearance, you could pick a female and your race changed the way your class looked as well.. Spent a lot of time playing the web verison of this game. Happy that it's on Steam now which seems to have much better performance than when running in Chrome.
